We’re pleased to release the ISO 11798 durability certificate for Original HP inks in the PageWide XL series.
HP PageWide XL pigment inks are certifiably permanent under the ISO 11798 standard – Permanence and durability of writing, printing and copying on paper. This is a rigorous industry standardized test method, proving that prints made with HP PageWide XL printers using Original HP ink will withstand harsh exposure to light, water, abrasion and handling, and long-term storage and heat, and still be legible in the future. Historically, the ISO 11798 certification was only achievable with laser or toner based printers. This is no longer the case as HP’s new pigment ink formulation deliver laser-like durability.
What is ISO 11798 durability?

- Enables sales bids for some governments and institutions, as they require ISO 11798 certification
